How to Fix Kies connection Problem with Galaxy S2 ?

Hi everyone, am new  to Andriod and Samsung. Running windows 7. Downloaded Kies and installed driver…etc. I can  see Samsung Galaxy S 2 Phone in my device manager, but not in “My computer”. When connecting the mobile to PC using original USB I get the message “Reconnect the device in Samsung Kies (PC Studio) mode. Current connection mode not supported by Kies”  can anyone help please

That error message means you have usb debugging enabled. Disconnect your phone, navigate to  menu>settings>applications>development  and untick usb debugging. Plug in phone now and it should work

My Samsung Galaxy SII with Vodafone as provider will not stop saying "looking for GPS...." when in whatever Navigation. It takes ages if ever to lock the GPS signal from the sattelites. Yesterday evening updated to the latest OS on the phone, and installed GPSStatus. It will show the satts, and there seems to be an improvement in locking to a satt when navigating. Allthough, compared to an iPhone it takes ages. please guys help !!!!
